Bag the Bags

The bags we throw out go to the sea or ocean. That is bad because they animals that live in the sea eat the bags and end up choking on it. The sea animals mistake it for food. To help and not cause deaths we can recycle the bags we use instead of disposing them. You can refuse the plastic bags and come with your own bag.

I will post a toondoo soon okay. Peace!

PetLand's Secret

Dear PetLand,

I just watched a video on where you get your puppies. You should stop supporting Puppy Mills because they treat there animals like machines and products not living creatures. Animals raised in puppy mills lack in attention, medical care, clean food, and shelter. And they are sold everywhere at pet stores around the world. You should stop supporting puppy mills because every year animals die because no one buys them. I mean have you seen the way the puppies in the puppy mills are treated. They live in cages with minimum room. Imagine you living like that. Not nice right? This is why you should stop supporting puppy mills.

Losing My Friends To Weed......... (Not Actually Me)

I just read a short story about a kid who has to choose between having friends or staying away from drugs. You can read it here .

I think the decision Jamel made was a good one because he didn't smoke. He did the right thing by refusing the blunt that was going around. It was hard for him to choose because he wanted to stay healthy and because he didn't want his friends to think he was a mama's boy or a sissy. No I haven't been pressured for something I thought was wrong but I know that you have to make the right decision and not make the wrong one. Just cuz ur friends do something that to them seems cool but to you it doesn't, you don't have to follow their decision.

** Extra Credit **

Um I think some kids want other kids to go along with what they are doing because they might want to mess with the other person or they are too scared to try it alone. I think it is hard for people to accept others differently because they may want everyone to be like them and they might think its cool.

Nasty Concoction

I would add lettuce, ketchup, and raw eggs. I remember doing this when I was a kid so I have a story. My sister and I got up way before our parents and decided to make us something to eat. We went to the kitchen an got lettuce, eggs, ketchup, olive oil and marshmallows. We mixed it all together and it looked gross. I dared my sister to try it and she insisted that we try it at the same time. So I grabbed two spoons and gave one to my sister. Instead she tricked me and I ate it by myself. It was disgusting. I almost threw up.

*BONUS*

When I was young I use to play duck duck goose and under the legs tags. I don't think it was weird but if you see me playing it now it seem weird.

Stopping Pet Homeless

To be a responsible pet owner means that you take care of your pet and play with it. A responsible pet owner means that you don't treat your pet like it doesn't matter and are always treating it like if it was and actual human. Dogs have feelings too! To help stop pet population people can get their pets spayed or neutered. If you don't then the dog will have up to six babies and when those 6 babies grow up they will have more and more puppies. In total there will be alot of dogs who will need alot of homes. To stop homelessness we can adopt a pet from the shelter.

Animal Cruelty :[

Animal Cruelty is when people abuse their pets. They abuse them by hitting them, kicking them, not feeding them, punching them almost anything physical. Also a lot of people make their dogs fight (dogfighting) and they can get seriously hurt. Well we can do a lot of things to prevent animal cruelty. We can get help, tell people to be responsible, get people to listen and not to be cruel to animals, and we can start a club. Those are the things we can all do and will make a difference in animals life.

When I take a long look in the mirror this is what I see

I see a girl who wants to accomplish something. I see a girl who tries her very best and always succeeds. I see a girl who understands the importance in life. I see me as an inspiration to others and also as a role model. I see myself as a hero and maybe even and example to kids. I see myself having a good job and wit a pretty decent house. I see myself as a athlete. I see my self a passionate person. Overall I see myself as me.

(This is another out of the blue topic)

The saddest moment in my life (I picked the pic because I loved the eye color lol)

Well I got bored so I went online to find a good topic. I really liked the title topic because I have a sad moment. Well the saddest moment has to be when my dad's brother died in a car accident. It happened in Pennsylvania around the midday. I wasn't with him but my dad's sister called him up and told him. He was riding in his car to go to a doctors appointment when he slipped off the road and his car completely crashed. At first I thought they were playing a trick on me but I saw my dad get really emotional because his brother is so close to him. When we go to Pennsylvania we stop by his grave and just get emotional. Well I don't wanna go any further because I'm starting to get a little emotional myself but that has got to be the saddest moment for me

Gold Miner

I'm a gold miner. Everyday I have to wake up early and search for gold. I don't even get enough money to support my family and I. No I never have any fun nor am I ever happy because I work so much. I wish I had a normal life with lots of friends and to go to school. I want to learn so much but I'm wasting my time searching for gold. While we search for gold we use a chemical called Mercury. It is a chemical that attracts gold. I'm some what scared because I could get sick from the chemical. When I carry heavy gold I often get cuts and I don't even take a break. Some times I just feel my legs go numb by the amount I'm carrying. My back aches and it doesn't go away. I want to get a good education or at least a little bit of learning so life wont be so hard.

Five Senses, Minus one

Wow this is a hard question and quite frankly I don't know. Which sense would I give up? Sight- I need it to see what I'm doing and what I'm eating. Hearing- I need to hear all the gossip that goes. Taste- I need to taste my food. Smell- well I need to smell the food that people cook. Touch- I need to touch my food. I really don't know which to give up. I might give up hearing but if I had to give up something I wont

BONUS

A DAY WITHOUT MY HEARING

I remember the first time I lost my hearing. I was traveling to Texas to visit my grandparents. We took a break at a gas station. I went to go get a drink and to use the bathroom. Once I bought my drink I walked into a dirty bathroom. I did my business and went to wash my hands. As I went to wet my face water had gotten in my ear. I had noticed the water had been super dirty. I felt my ears getting huge as if a bee stung my ears. I ran out the bathroom and ran to my mom. I told her my ears were hurting me and I waited for an answer. I stood waiting for like a solid 3 minutes. My mom shook me. But I still didn't hear an answer. I told her again but louder. Then I did something I would never do. I did some thinking. I asked my mom to grab my a paper and a pen. On that paper and pen I told her I couldn't hear a word she was saying and to hurry and take me to grandmas house. She took the drivers seat and drove off (with me inside). Mom was driving past speed limit because the wind was my blowing back my lips and face. I couldn't even talk. My mom had stopped by a pharmacy on the way and got me that ear medicine stuff that doesnt do anything. She dropped 2 drops of liquid into both my ears and shook them a bit. Any way to make the story short when we finally reached my grandparents house my ears started to clear up and the sweeling reduced. In minutes I could hear again. And thats the story of how I lost my hearing for a day.

Barack Obama

Yes Obama being voted president means alot to me because hes the first African American president and I do believe that change can happen. I mean he mad history by becoming the FIRST African American president. People always use to say they will never be a black president by he proved the world wrong. In a way he signified change because instead of white presidents there is now a African American president. I believe he could make the world better then what it is or was. As president I hope he can lower the price of college. I know I got a long way but its not only for the benefit of me it also can apply for other people. I mean I would love to go to college but the prices are too high. I just want Obama to make as much change as he can.

Stolen Laptop Story Part 2

When I had finally reached the house, I locked the doors and zoomed up to my room. I took a deep breath and looked to my hand to see that I was still holding the mac book. I thought the mac book had fallen because I was running quicker then usual. I plugged in the charger to the mac book and turned it on. The computer was in great shape and was working quite well. "Mark are you in here" my mom said. "Um yes give me a minute. I'm putting on my pajamas" I said while putting the mac under my pillow. My mom came in and sat right next to me. She was talking about getting me the laptop Ive always wanted (which was the one I stole because I knew my mom was never gonna get me one) for doing good in school. She left my room and I quickly took out the mac book. Now I had to really think. Here's what I could do: I could return the laptop and face my punishment which will be not getting the laptop & getting timeout or I could hide the laptop my whole life. I really had trouble deciding. I layed down on my bed just thinking. While I was sleeping I had plenty of people telling me or should I say helping me with my desion. The people in my dream was my math teacher and the guy who loves to steal. The teacher was telling me to return the laptop while the other guy was telling me to sell it so I could make a couple of bucks. Morning had come and still no different from yesterday. Feeling guily but still unsure of what to do. When I got to school the security took me to aside and asked me if I knew what happened yesterday. I said I didn't know who was here yesterday. When I go out of school I ran home to see if my mom had spotted the laptop. But she didn't. I went straight to the mac book and cleaned it up. I still didn't know what to do. I felt real bad that I stole a laptop because I didn't pay for the laptop and I just wanted one so I can show it off to my friends. Plus my mom was getting me one for having good grades. That made me feel real bad. I had made up my mind. The sun had rose and so did I. I grabbed the mac book and went to school. At school to the technology teacher and told him everything. I ended up doing extra work and getting detention for 2 weeks. Well at least I did the right thing by returning the laptop.

MESSAGE: That's what I'm trying to get at people. If you steal do the right thing and return it. You might get in trouble but at least you know you did the right thing. Even if your friends approve of you stealing, don't listen to them.

TRANSFORMED PART 2

I Left the house in a hurry to go to school. As soon as I walked out all eyes were on me. They looked confused and probably asking themselves what is she doing. I put my head down and walked even quicker. Once I opened the wooden doors of school I knew I had arrived to the bully zone. Everyone watched as I walked through the hallways that seemed endless to open my locker. I had finally gotten to my locker and heard plenty of people whispering. One of them started telling jokes about me and everyone started laughing. I felt so humiliated. I ran to the bathroom as quick as I could. I took out my cellphone and called my older brother who I should say was the greatest scientist alive. He was in at my dads house which was like and hour away. I asked my brother to come home after school to help me with an experiment. After that quick phone call I went to class. Throughout class everyone was throwing paper balls at me saying why I look the way I look. After a while I got tired so I got out of my seat and stood up in front of the class. "Hey the only reason why I look like a ladybug is because I woke up like this" I said. "Yeah right stop lying" said someone behind a girl with 2 pony tails. The teacher told me to sit down and stop fooling around so he could get back to teaching. I sunk onto the floor and was dying for school to end. Which in time it did. I walked down the stairs and exited the building as quick as I could. I went home to be questioned by my brother. He first said what everyone else said. "What happened to you.? "I don't know I woke up like this. Do you have anything to make me normal again?" "I can whip a potion up but it will take at least a day" he said. "Oh man I got to go to school to be humiliated again" I said while sighing. As the conversation went on I ignored him. My mom had walked through the door in shock to see me and my brother. Of course my mom was asking me tons of questions which I ignored. "Oh wait I know how to change you" my brother said. "Well cmon start" I said. My brother grabbed my hand and flew me out the door. He dragged me all the way to the store and bought a couple of items though I couldn't see what they were. Once we arrived home my brother grabbed a test tube and started mixing the items up. When he was done, he held the tube up. He told me to try the liquid that looked sort of like a green gelatin. I took the tube and drank it. It tasted weird at first but soon I felt myself changing. I looked at my hands and saw that they were getting thicker and my feet were getting bigger. In minutes I became me again. I had hair, teeth, clothes, and no spots. I even had the biggest appetite I ever had. I thanked my brother and for now I felt better. But I still wondered what that was all about and what would the the kids say now.

That was the day I was TRANSFORMED!!!!

TRANSFORMED

The alarm clock woke me up at 9:00. I had gotten up almost not moving an inch. I stood still for a few minutes to get fully awake. I rose off the bed and headed to the bathroom. I felt real funny because I felt my body had no weight as if I had burned it in the gym. The bathroom door had been opened so I walked right in. I turned on the sink while adjusting the water temperatures. I scooped up a handful of water and felt my skin all rough. "Oh My Gosh" I said so shocked. I went to open my eyes all the way and saw someone who didn't look like "me". I had just realized I, out of everything else that happened to me, had become a ladybug. I forced my eyes shut to see if it was all a dream but it wasn't. I had been TRANSFORMED. Many questions ran through my head. Why am I ladybug?. How did I become a ladybug?. Why am I not me?. I walked out the bathroom and examined myself in a full length mirror. My legs and arms were really skinny and I had wings with 6 spots on each side. I still had to go to school because today was picture day and I couldn't miss that. My hands hardly had power to put my shoes on. I wondered what kids will say when this see me as a ladybug. What will they call me? I had to make up an excuse but this excuse had to be good. Oh I had it. I could tell everyone that was my Halloween costume. Being a lady bug will change my life mainly because I'm not capable of doing all the stuff I used to do. I would fly and ill have to eat whatever ladybugs eat which wont be cheeseburgers or fries. I will still be the real me inside because only my outside changed not my inside.

Stolen Laptop

People would steal a laptop from our school because the laptops are nice, they are too poor to buy their own, to sell it on ebay and make a big bucks and fourth because they are just jerks. This is wrong because your stealing school property, you wouldnt like it if someone stole something from you and last but no least you sure didnt pay for it. This is the kind of world we live in. We live in a world of Lying, Cheating and Stealing. Although a nice world will just never happen. The person who stole it sure doesnt have a heart.

Bonus

The Day I Stole a Macbook (even though i didnt)

Its 5:00 pm and im here in the park waiting for all the teachers to leave so I can make my move. I see plenty of teachers leave in a group and see the security closing the entrance doors. They stare at me as if they know me and I turned away quickly. I turned back to see if they left and they did. I went to get the ladder I had hid in the garbage. I carried it to the stone floors and made my way up. I didnt look back. I just kept going. I had finally reached the top and looked down one final time to see if anyway was around. I found a door and took the stairs down to the internet cafe. I twisted the door but it didnt open. I took a key out of my pocket and started to pick the lock. "Yes I opened it" I said. I walked throughout the room until I found what I was looking for. THE MACBOOK. I opened the laptop doors and saw nothing but white mac books. I grabbed one and took a seat down. I turned it on a started browsing the laptop. The noise of footsteps scared the living hec out of me. I grabbed the laptop and a charger and left. I ran as quick as I could back to where the ladder was waiting for me. I climed down the ladder with the laptop in my hand. Once I reached the stone floor bottom, I ran for my life

THIS STORY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME STEALING HIS LAPTOP. I DIDNT DO IT. THIS SToRY IS FICTION

The test we took during talent

Okay while taking the test I learned that im moderately expressed extravert, slightly expressed sensing personality, moderately expressed feeling personality, and moderately expressed judging personality. Well yes I do know what I want to be when I get older. I would love for more than anything in the world is to become a pro wnba player. No i dont think this will help me at all because its from the point of view of a computer its not really me. I just think it wont help. This will only help if believe it but to me I dont like the idea at all

Child Farm Workers part 2

What causes Joseanna to drop out is missing out on all of her school work and it makes it difficult to understand her school work after being gone so much. The MET program also know as Motivation, Education, and training helps to keep kids in school by paying them a minimum of money for them to go to school and to stay away form the farms. The MET is a good program because they want child farm workers to have a life and to be something big in life. The child farm workers are no different from us. The only difference is that they have to work on farms.

Bonus Question: Okay first I will walk in to the store and look around. Then I would walk up to the manager and ask him "Do you know where this food comes from". And if he says no I'm gonna have to tell him a long speech on where the food comes from and why you shouldn't eat it.

Child Farm Worker

My day is torture. I have to make food, rugs, and clothing. Everyday I have to pick up seeds one at a time. IT hurts my back alot. When im working outside im exposed to heat and cold. It makes me feel like im dying because im working for nearly 14 hours or more. I do very poorly in school because I dont even go to school. I would love to go to school so I can have a good education and so I can get a real job. I worry about getting sick from the chemicals they spray to kill bugs and bacteria. My parents make me work so that I can help them earn money. Which is quite a little bit of money. I work to give my parents a better life. This is just like being a slave.

To help others I would refuse foods to buy foods that were picked by exploited workers. Everyone should refuse food that were picked by exploited workers because they work their butts off for people not to appericate what they did.

Yay I Finally found my Talents

My talent is.........

EATING AND SLEEPING

I have the ability to sleep for hours and hours. I no its not that big of a deal but for me it is. I an sleep for almost a day without any distractions. Unless i fall of the bed which has happened a couple of times. Sleeping is my thing. Its like the thing i wish everyone can do more of.

Another talent i have is that i can eat without stopping. You may think it is easy but its not. Sometimes people may throw-up but not me. I can eat and eat and eat.

Those are my hidden talents

Tattoos

I think its okay to have tattoos because some tattoos look nice. It can be ok to get tattoos because some really mean something and they are artistic.

I think its bad to get tattoos because some are just ugly and they ay judge you differently. Lets say ur goin to a tea party or some place elegant and you have to wear a dress. You will feel so wierd because u have lots of tattoos and every one else looks decent. I think its bad to get tattoos because some of them are just on peoples body for decoration. And plus it hurts like crazy.

The adult I interviewed is................

MY MOM
I found out that my moms earliest moments of when she was a child was when she was born."Life as a teenager was great" my mom recalled. "I attended JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 56"."I was a very good student(wow like mother like daughter)" my mom then added. I also learned that my mom played games such as monopoly and pick up sticks. She played sports such as tennis and handball. The most important thing that ever happened in my moms life was having her 4 children, Jose, Brenda, Julie, and last but no least me :) My moms greatest adventure was her very 1st trip to Puerto Rico. She is kind of sketchy on the details but she remembers being really happy and dying to go on vacation.

Hurricane Ike

HURRICANE IKE LOCATED IN THE TEXAS AREAS :The damage caused by the winds was houses knocked down and trees falling with tremendous force. Almost everything was knocked down. The wind flooded the houses with water and caused major flooding. Residents rushed to stock up on last-minute supplies and fill up gas tanks to prepare for the storm. People became homeless in addition to getting their house flooded :(

My Hidden Talents are the unthinkable (that i cant think about them)

okay. Right now i cant think of anything (because its so early) but as soon as i think of my talent i will post it on.

~ sorry~
